Synopsis
If you were to tell young Amari that she’d fall in love with curly blond and mysteriously moody Ryan the first time they met, she would’ve laughed in your face. However, a couple of summers – and many crazy and intimate experiences – later, she finds herself head over heels for the boy who promises her he’ll never disappear. Like her father, he breaks that promise and ghosts her. Also like her father, he re-enters her life in the most unexpected of ways. It only takes her mom getting into a car accident for Amari to return to the home, the family, and the feelings she ran from over a decade ago.
